We are seeking a skilled and motivated Content Writer and Social Marketer to join our team on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality content and engaging on social media to raise awareness of our French Language School and web platform in both English and French.

• Bilingual in English and French
• Have some experience teaching French
• Experienced in content creation, editing, or writing
• Passionate about writing high-quality online articles

Missions:

• Create, edit, and proofread engaging web content in English about learning French and French culture.
• Optimize content for SEO purposes using relevant keywords and meta descriptions.
• Collaborate with our team to develop content strategies and ideas.
• We accept the use of AI provided that the final article is fully proof-read and reads as if it was human-written.
• Ensure all content is of high quality, engaging, and aligns with our brand's voice and tone.
• Create posts based on your articles on social media, in particular Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Interact on the social media platforms to encourage engagement with your posts

Requirements:

• A responsible and detail-oriented individual with excellent writing and editing skills
• Able to write in both English and French
• Proven experience in content editing or writing, preferably in a digital context
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for search engines
• Knowledge of office software (Word/Docs, Powerpoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, PDF)
• Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Wordpress, Strapi, Contentful, or others
• Bonus: Knowledge of Markdown (.md) syntax and/or HMTL/CSS would be a plus

Work Hours and Duration:

• Flexible hours, working within the CET +/-6h time zone in order to be reachable video-conference meetings
• Full flexibility to organize your work schedule whilst respecting deadlines
• Flexible duration, but we’re seeking someone available for at least 3 months

Contract:

• Freelance/Service contract for independent contractors
• Starting with a 3 month contract with a set number of articles per month
• Possible to cumulate with other writing or tutoring contracts

Remuneration:

• £25 per article and corresponding set of social-media posts, with one article per week
• Opportunities for bonuses based on performance
